Col. Denning was more than a founding member of the Rotary Club of Clarke County; he was a devoted leader, a proud veteran, and a steadfast example of what it means to live a life of Service Above Self. His distinguished military career in the Air Weather Service took him across the globe, with assignments in the Philippines, Japan, and Europe, yet his heart remained firmly rooted in serving others—both abroad and right here at home.
As we look at the flag waving in his honor, we are reminded of his enduring contributions—not only in forming our club but also in building a foundation of service, leadership, and community spirit that we continue to build on today.
